I love the format of the business card. In paper engineering, this small scale is a bit like designing jewelry. I made this card for a very talented interior designer to help her stand out. The piece also sits on one’s desk like a little piece of dollhouse furniture so that you’d remember who to call whenever you have a drapery or sconce emergency. It’s very simple to open and has an integrated soft lock to help hold it in the set-up position. I had room on the print form and thought it would be fun to use [12] different patterns for the pillows. They just snap in at the end of the assembly procedure. I should make more that pop into other furnishings! A working recliner would be so great. A paper one would be great too.
