I am now officially available for sale at the MoMA Store!

You could, nay should, act now while supplies last. The Museum of Modern Art selects work from artists every year and sells these greeting cards in order to help fund their programs. I am honored that my submission was accepted and manufactured for this year’s line.
If you follow this link, you can buy a tractor-trailer load of them from the online store. I suppose you could always buy a smaller quantity as well – but why would you want to? I believe these are available in several retail stores as well and if you happen to be in NYC, you can also pick some up at the museum’s gift shop.

You can see the oven card in action here:

The design went through many versions and I couldn’t have done it without the support and help from my friends and family. My wife, in particular, knew for sure that this was something the museum would choose as soon as I made the first white mock-up.

Oooooo…”Special Feature” – I like that!

The card mails flat and becomes a dimensional oven when you pull the door open. The gingerbread man cookie stands up on his cookie sheet wishing you well (presumably with the knowledge that he is much too fast for you to ever catch and eat.) The card stands on its own thereafter and becomes a fun little interactive paper decoration as well. I hope that you will pick up some of these fun paper goodies and that you enjoy the upcoming holidays!

Wow! These cards completely sold out last year!

Good news! Because the oven Christmas cards were such a hit, they reprinted them again for this year. You can order from MoMA at this link: http://store.moma.org/office/holiday-cards/gingerbread-wishes/115254-115254.html#q=Holiday+Cards&view=grid&sz=all&start=74

How freaking fantastic is that?!? OMG, I can’t wait to order it. Congrats on being chosen – the first year you won’t need to hand make your own cards! Your wife must be ecstatic :D

Thanks, Cecelia! You’d think I could use those cards, right? I’m a glutton for punishment so I’m probably just going to make another new design anyway.

Hi Rob — there will never be a more ME card than your red stove. I saw it on the MOMA shop website, but sadly procrastinated + did not get it. Is there any chance I might find a box or 2 elsewhere? Hope so! Loved it! TY!

I’m so glad you liked my card! I hadn’t even realized that it sold out until your note. I’m sure other retailers would have carried these but unfortunately, I don’t have any way of knowing were to find them. I think MoMA will reprint this design and offer it again next season though. Good luck and thanks again!

Congratulations on such a beautiful card! Unfortunately for me, I discovered it too late at MOMA and is no longer available. Where else can I find it? Will it be available at MOMA next year? Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words about my card! I hadn’t realized that it sold out until this week. I am optimistic that MoMA will reprint this design and offer it again next season. Unfortunately I don’t know which other retailers would still have any stock on their shelves at the moment but I believe that MoMA cards are available elsewhere. Good luck!

I just received one of these cards from a friend because I bake anywhere from 15-20 kinds of cookies and candy each year to mail to family and friends. I LOVED it!!! I too would love to have more of these. Will definitely keep an eye on the MOMA website store next year and order them asap when they appear. Thank you for such a perfect for me card!!!!!

Thank you very much for reaching out with this positive feedback. I’m so glad you liked the oven card and it seems like it was a very fitting choice for someone to have given to you. (My mother is all about the Christmas cookie baking too.) MoMA confirmed that they will reprint and offer it again next season so you can get more. I sincerely appreciate your comments and I wish you all the best.

Fantastic! I really hope they love them.
FYI: I’ve heard that some of the elastic bands they used in these are a little weak – but they’ll work fine once the cards are opened.
      Have a great holiday!

I would love to purchase the cards but I do not see them being sold on MOMA?
